Pipelines play a vital role in delivering endless amounts of oil, natural gas, and other petroleum products to critical locations like cities. However, these pipelines threaten the environment, private property, and public health. I live in Chester County, and there are twelve active but aging pipelines that will have to be replaced at some point. I decided to do this topic because these aging pipelines pose a significant threat to the local environment and my hometown, where I grew up.
